Tom Dorgan

Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator

Head Coach Tom Dorgan is now in his 14th year of coaching total. His second year on the Freedom staff and 2006 will be Coach Dorgan's first year teaching at FHS. This year he's calling the defensive signals on the Varsity and will also be working with the O-line and D-line this year along with his duties as head coach.

Before taking the job at FHS Coach Dorgan held a varsity assistant football job at Kimberly High School along with the track head coaching position. As the track head coach he took a team of 19 members and over his three years increased the team to upwards of 60 members. Not only did this help the track team, but the football team also benefitted as many of those members were also football players.

Coach Dorgan is happily married to Sue Dorgan Their two dogs complete their family of four.

After high school, he went to college at St. Norberts College and played all four years of football there.

He graduated from Marist High School, Chicago, IL. There Coach Dorgan was all conference, all area, all state-honorable mention in football.

Other interests include running, biking and weightlifting.
