Raising funds to enhance the program
Fundraising is very important to our program. It provides many of the funds needed to buy equipment and improve our facilities. Without this funding much of the equipment would continue to degrade and become unuseable. Our program currently collaborates with Varsity Gold. Varsity Gold is an organization dedicated to fundraising for many different types of organizations. We use the discount card program. The kids are given cards to sell, these cards allow the consumer many discounts on items locally and also farther reaching discounts.
Many enhancements to the weightroom have already been undertaken via the funds generated. This facility is of utmost importance to not only our program, but also the other sports as well as gym classes and even the community.
